LIFELINE SPORTS Youth Clinics
On May 9th,2015 Lifeline Sports hosted its Inaugural Baseball Clinic at the Historic League Park. Over 200 youth ages 7-13 participated in the half day clinic. Led by both current and former professional baseball players, kids went through a variety of drills that focused on the following fundamentals: hitting, fielding, pitching and base running. All youth who participated received a t-shirt, drawstring bag, water bottle and lunch, courtesy of various Lifeline partners.
In efforts to incorporate Lifeline’s mission, our guest coaches addressed the youth on the importance of education and understanding the true meaning behind hard work. The youth also had the opportunity to visit the Baseball Heritage Museum where they learned about the history and legacy of the Historic League Park.
