Lauren Harris, Events Branding Director
Lauren Harris is the Manager of Events for the Greater Cleveland Sports Commission (GCSC). She serves as the lead manager for the Annual Cleveland Classic HBCU Football game overseeing the planning, budgeting, operation and execution for all activities encompassed within the event. In addition, Harris is responsible for the management and recruitment for the GCSC Internship Program.
A native of Cleveland, Ohio she graduated with honors from Temple University where she received a Bachelor of Science in Sports Management with a minor in Spanish. Harris served as the head student manager for Temple University’s Women’s Basketball team coached by 3-time Olympic Medalist Coach Dawn Staley.
Harris is a board member at Burten, Bell Carr Development and an active member of Women In Sports & Events and the National Association of Black Sports Professionals- Cleveland Chapters. In her spare time she enjoys traveling, exercising and playing basketball.
