When The Ball Stops (WTBS)


“When The Ball Stops” (WTBS) is a 10 week life skills curriculum that promotes education, leadership and strong work ethic. The program focuses on introducing students to various professions within the Sports Industry outside of being a professional athlete. Designed as a mechanism to encourage kids to begin thinking of life after sports, the curriculum includes weekly industry related guest speakers,  field trips and hands on class projects. 

​Currently operating in four schools (Glenville High School, Martin Luther King High School, Cleveland Central Catholic High School & Patrick Henry) and Fatima Community Center, the curriculum touches on 7 areas within the sports industry:

Marketing
​Sports Agency

PR/Communications
Collegiate Athletics

Exercise Science
Ticket Sales
​Operations/Events
